New big brother and sister

Unfortunately I can't show the new baby. See Baby G is a foster child and arrived in this home when he was only a few days old. Rules say I can't post his image on the internet, so you will have to trust me that he is beautiful. The best part is he has found himself in a wonderful home. His new big brother Mr M went to preschool with Jessica and his parents have been talking about taking in a foster child for 2 years. His mom keeps talking about how lucky they are to have him, but from where I sit, I think he is just as lucky to have them. The two children both wanted to hold him in the pictures and couldn't stop hugging and kissing him. Here are the pictures I can share of Miss K and Mr M.

Mom said I could share this one too. I took this one in early October when Baby G was only 5 weeks old. I think he has doubled in size since then.

Ewwwwww!

Everybody now, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth...." Jessica wanted me to pull out her tooth today, but it isn't quite loose enough. This picture makes me say Ewwwwww.

Absolutely Adorable

There is no other way to describe Miss R, she is absolutely adorable. She giggled and smiled from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. There are so many cute images from this shoot I had a hard time narrowing it down to just a few to share. But alas I did, here are some of my favorites.

Little Miss L

This cutie came to see me today too. She is at the age that sitting for pictures is not so possible. so we let her roam a little and grab what interested her. She has a beautiful Hawaiian name and the big brown eyes to go with it too.

As I have said before I am loving the non-smiling pictures lately. I think this picture is beautiful (if I do say so myself).

'Tis the Season

Here is Mr A. He and his parents came here this morning. He was so sweet. Big Beautiful Brown eyes and lots of smiles. Makes me want a little four month old again, well not to keep.

Here is my nomination for cutest image ever....

OK Karen....

Here is your sneak peek. These guys are some of my earliest subjects. Mr T and Jessica went to preschool together, but of course they have no recollection of one another- oh well. First off Miss N in her totally cool hat.

Mr T, humoring me....

the whole beautiful family!
You will have to wait a few more days Karen to see the rest :)

Another Sneak Peek

Here are a few pictures from my afternoon session- see, more boys! They are all cousins and we were trying to get some group pictures and family pictures as well. The kids were all so great and cooperative, especially since I made them go outside in the 30+ degree temps- thanks guys!

Boys Boys Everywhere!

Today was a day of boys. This morning I went to take pictures of 7 cousins ALL boys. This afternoon I took pictures of 5 cousins, 4 boys and 1 girl. But first, my morning session. These boys are from 3 different families and I think I performed my own version of a Christmas Miracle- all 7 boys are looking at the camera!

Now for the sibling breakdowns. First off the middle two, Mr Q and Mr O.
Now the youngest 3, I last saw them a year ago. It is so much fun to watch these kids grow (and not be the one responsible for their upbringing). Here are Mr A, Mr M and Mr F.
While I could show you pics of the oldest two together I think they are so handsome they need to be shown separately.

ok, that is all for now. I have another sneek peek to get on the blog.

Happy Thanksgiving!

First we will start with a picture of the cute Turkey cookies I made this year. I made some for Justin's class and then decided to make more for our family gathering.

Jessica in her Thanksgiving finest, courtesy of Grandmommy.
Both my kids, ok - not a great shot of Jessica- but the best I could do with Justin. Justin's outfit also courtesy of Grandmommy.
The whole gang that gathered at Mom's house this year.
for the first time in a long time we did not wake up before dawn to take advantage of Black Friday sales. The Grandmas said it was because we are getting old but we believe it was because there was no sale great enough to tempt us- that is my story and I am sticking to it. Hope you all had a wonderful day.

for Mrs. S.

These two beauties are the children of one of Justin's teachers. What a nice surprise for my kids when they realized someone special to them was at their house. I must say it is nice to have an older person to photograph every once in a while. They were very good sports and even humored me when I suggested we go outside in the cold and drizzly day. Without further ado, here is Miss M and Mr A....

Watch out Girls!

One look at this guy and you can already hear the phone ringing from all the girls that will call, giggle and hang up. C'mon you know you did it too. This is Mr Z, between the hair and the eyes he has it all, don't you think?

For Emily....

These last pics from the weekend are of our good friends. Sometimes it is difficult for me to photograph kids who know me too well. They don't always take me seriously- hmm no idea why. Don't think I did too bad here though. So here is Miss A and Mr M in their beautiful fall outfits...

Let's not forget Mom and Dad...

Robin and Paul

Ah, what can I say about this shoot. Robin and Paul wanted some recent pictures of themselves together. Robin gave me quite a lecture about avoiding the "cheesy" photos. After arriving and getting started I realize that admonition was actually for her husband Paul. I have to say we had so much fun, well Paul and I did. We were laughing so hard for most of the time, causing quite a few scoldings from Robin, "I am taking this seriously!". Paul wanted me to agree to, "what happens in Stanley Park, stays in Stanley Park"- but alas I had to share a few. Here is the beautiful couple.

and to be honest there are many photos that look like this too...
Thanks guys it was a blast and a great way to end my photo taking weekend. Don't worry Emily, you are next, working on them now.

Sunday is Friend Day!

I had 3 sessions today, all with friends. First up is Mr T and Miss V. Mr T and Justin went to camp this summer together and hit it off. Now they enjoy chasing each other around the roller skating rink for Stomp Romp and Roll.

Ok, and this image just cracks me up! Mr T let it be known that he did not want that to happen again. hee hee.
still need to get sneek peeks from the other two sessions from today. phew- I am busy!
