Mr T is a big brother

You may recognize Mr T from some previous posts. Well he became a big brother two weeks ago. I was so excited to meet Mr C today. Here they are together (sort of).

Mama and Mr C had an eventful night last night, but seeing them today you couldn't have guessed.
A bit of a different take on the foot shot, Mr T curled his foot around Mr C's foot- very sweet.
Ok, is there anyone out there that doesn't want to just pick up this little adorable bundle and snuggle him? I know I did!

A little beauty

Miss G came over to my house today. She is such a cutie and a total Daddy's girl, Daddy could make her smile everytime.

Miss G was baptised last week and this is the beautiful dress she wore, isn't she a little princess?

Miss G is not the only beauty in the family, here she is with her big sister Miss A.

From three girls to three boys...

Phew- three boys. Each with their own spunky personality and cuteness. This did make group shots a little tricky. But individuals a definite. Mr J, the oldest, is starting Kindergarten this year.
Mr. C was a bit of a card.
Unfortunately soon after Mr R arrived he was done with pics and a little under the weather.
So, two out of three ain't bad, right mom?

Three little Beauties

DISCLAIMER: two of these girls are identical twins- there is a good chance that I uploaded 2 pictures of the same girl by accident, although after careful inspection I don't believe I did. My apologies Mom if you are getting a double sneak peek of one girl :) Anyway, these three beautiful beauties came this afternoon. Apparently they had been practicing their poses all week, but got a little shy in front of the camera.

Ok, I know this next picture is not "exactly" what a Mom has in mind but I have to say it makes me smile. You can almost hear the thoughts in their heads...

1st of three today!

Just to shake things up a little I am starting with Mom and Dad. So here are Mom and Dad, they have 3 children and one foster child. You will only see their three children here due to Foster Care policies, but trust me that she is pretty cute too.

Mr. N, their oldest is suffering from allergies so unfortunately it was a little hard for him to sit, open his eyes and look happy about it- totally understand. Here is Mr. Z- humoring me.

Now little Miss M is a bundle of energy. She made me work for my money today. She was so excited to chase bubbles around the yard. I finally caught her when she was showing us how she could walk on my wall.

um, anyone guess who they are routing for this fall?

I have been showing a lot of Mommy and child pictures so I decided it was time for a Daddy pic.

This is not the first family I have met that have foster children. I am always so impressed with their loving inclusion of these children. Every time I think, "wow this child is so lucky to have found this family". I know in my heart I do not have it in me to take in foster children myself, but yet I would like to help in some way. It has been shown that the better the picture of the foster child the more likely they are to be chosen. I have tried to see if the Springfield area has any sort of program for volunteer photographers and haven't had much luck. So I am putting this out to you, my blog readers. If anyone knows who I need to get in touch with in order to volunteer my services please let me know.

Back in the swing of things

Back from vacation, still haven't finished unpacking. I am very busy this week with sessions, so the laundry will have to wait. These three beauties drove about an hour to come see me this morning. The real trooper was Dad, he brought them and kept the white outfits white- pretty impressive. First up is Miss M, going into third grade- tomorrow!

Mr. D, soon to be a first grader.
Both of the kids doted on little Miss L- she is one year old and full of spunk.
All three together make a beautiful picture.

LOVE this one! thanks for coming out this morning and dealing with all of the various Wilbraham detours!

Bet you thought I forgot, huh Manj?

If it had been anyone else I would have cancelled the appointment. But my friend Manjula and her kids were leaving the next day to go back to Germany and I was already in the car. It was so dark due to the torrential storm raging outside. I finally realized that if I opened the front door and stood in the rain I might be able to get a few good pics. Since it has taken me so long to put these up, I am putting up a bunch.

Miss R decided that I could only take her picture if she wasn't looking at the camera. In the end I really like these pictures- so the joke is on her.

This one is not technically perfect, but very cute.

Sorry it didn't work out for our beautiful garden shoot- guess you have to come back again soon.

Monster Maternity Post!

Meet Adam and Lindsay. Now, let's see if you can follow this, Adam is the brother of Jessica's godfather, our good friend Neil. Adam and Lindsay are expecting their first baby in October and everyone is excited. They were so fun to photograph and willing to try anything- love that! So here are MANY pictures for your viewing pleasure.

One of my favorites from maternity shoots.

I think this is Adam's favorite, something about his head....

And this is my favorite...

Seems the little one is already a big Red Sox fan...

Adam and Lindsay are going to be great parents. Want to know how I know? They are a great Aunt and Uncle and look how good they were with my little guy- 4 years ago!

So happy for you both and I can't wait to meet the newest addition to the family.

Fastest Shoot in History

The clouds were rolling in, the thunder was roaring and lightning was seen in the distance. Aren't they great to sit and smile? We were trying to get this picture...

We were able to sneak in a few more before everyone ran for cover.

Thanks for being so daring!

Bye Bye Miss C

Miss C has been to see me 3 times this year. It has been so fun watching her grow and yet seeing the things that stay the same. Miss C and her family are moving away so this might be the last time I see her for awhile. They promise they will visit me again when they are in town, I hope so! I will miss her squinchy nose smile...

sweet smile...
big kissable cheeks...
and squeals of delight.

Two Sisters and a Senior

I first met these two just before Christmas. I think what I love most about doing this is watching the little ones grow- so fun for me. First Miss N...

Miss S was a tough nut to crack today. I am pretty sure she must have spent her entire afternoon smiling after I left, but here is one I caught quick.

Who can resist a Daddy and his girls?
The girls have a next door neighbor that is going to be a senior this year. So Mr P came on over and I took a few quick pics of him. Teenage boys like to give this face- all serious and no smiles.

But let's face it, we moms like this face, all sweet and smiley.
So now they have both choices!
