What a great way to end my week- with a little newborn snuggling, love it! Mr C is just 10 days old and so beautiful. I guess I should just let you see for yourself...
Of course I think his parents should get some credit too.
Before I left we got a few pictures with the first babies in the families.
So nice meeting you all today- a great way to end my week and start my weekend!
Remember these two? I photographed their wedding last summer in Newport.
Well... one plus one = Miss C! As soon as my kids started school I jumped in my car and headed out to go meet their beautiful little girl. She was just 12 days old and so sweet.
It was 95 degrees outside where we set up for pictures. Usually I try to take a few pictures with the baby wrapped up in some cute blankets, but it just seemed cruel since we were all sweating away.Luckily Miss C didn't mind being a little nudie. My favorite thing about Miss C are her beautiful lips- so sweet.
This is for Aunt Amy, here is Miss C all snuggled up with the blanket that Amy knit just for her.
Ooooh I have been so excited to meet Miss R, well we have been referring to her as Junebug while we waited her arrival since she was due in June. Well apparently Miss R had her own plans so she decided to arrive a little early. I finally got to meet her today, on her 6th day of life. Miss R is all cuddled up in a blanket that Mommy's grandma made for her when she was born, Miss R looks quite comfy, don't you think?
Here she is in her Daddy's hands- isn't she just so sweet and petite?
The beautiful family of three... While many might think it is cool to have a friend that is a photographer- there are a few drawbacks- like your friend might make you do this with your new baby!
I am out of town for the weekend, but I was told my departure was contingent on putting some pictures up here- phew ransom paid.
You know that feeling you get when someone is staring you? Well my blog has been feeling that way all day :) I met Mr J and his mama yesterday. His mommy has many friends with little ones that have appeared on the blog before and she is excited to join the club! So without further ado..... the very handsome Mr J!
He wasn't feeling very snoozy but we caught a couple :)
If this shot doesn't make you go awwww.... well you are reading the wrong blog.
Oooooh I love what I do. Yesterday I went to meet another little one week old. Mr M has two older brothers- 2 year old twins. Mr N offered to pose for me while we got eveyone else ready.
We actually got a picture of all 3 of them... We sent the big boys off to go do their own thing and I settled in to take some pictures of Mr Sleepyhead.
Mr M is a member of a very Irish family. Can you think of a better hat for an Irish March baby?
And yes he did wake up for a few pictures.
And I can't decide- color?
or B&W? Mr B came in to check on us (ok not so much us but his baby brother).
Let me tell you a little about Mr M. His Mommy and I have been planning this photo shoot since before we even knew he was coming. Mom mentioned to me once that she regretted not taking newborn photos with her other two. As soon as we found out #3 was on his way we began making our plans. Mr M is only 7 days old- we found a time when it could be just the 3 of us- we sent Dad and the other two packing. We pumped the heat and the fire up and got to work.
I know Mom loves her B&W pictures....
What Mom really wanted was pics on the black backdrop. Wasn't it nice of Mr M to cooperate?
Mr M overheard me saying I wasn't leaving until he smiled- after almost 4 hours he was pretty sick of me so he acquiesced.
Mom was concerned about not being "camera ready". I don't know about you, but I think she looks great! This is the very last shot I took before I packed up and left.
Well that is enough for now, afraid if I keep looking at these pictures I am going to go back on my decision to not have any more babies.
