This is Miss G, she is 4 years old. We decided to change it up a little and pull out the brown backdrop- it goes beautifully with her eyes.

She was even adventurous enough to go outside for a little bit (until we both got too cold).

I have started getting calls again. It was a nice 2 month break but I am ready to get back to work. Because of the frigid temps, most of my work right now is inside. These two boys came to see me last year at this time- I really enjoy having repeat clients and watching them grow- so fun. Up first is Mr.N- he was all too happy to sit and smile for me.

Here is his younger brother Mr.J- he took a little more coaxing but we finally got him giggling- then he couldn't stop.

Mom and Dad jumped in for a few as well, I love that too!

Let me just say I was astounded at the number of votes and turn out for the contest- so fun! Were you checking the tallies every day like I was? Since the race was pretty close, I decided to give out prizes to the top 3- surprise!

Favorite Image from 2008| Springfield MA Portrait Photographer

Since this blog has been a little quiet lately I thought it might be fun to run a contest. I have chosen some of my favorite images from 2008. Now, no hurty feelings, there were so many it was so hard to choose. I tried to just pick 10 and I couldn't do that, in fact I couldn't even keep it under 20! I have favorites from EVERY session I do, so I had to really control myself.

Here's how this will work. Voting will go on for one week. On next Monday night I will choose the winner. The family of the winning photo will win a $50 print credit towards their NEXT photo session. So tell your friends and family and get voting!

The exception to my rule..

Every rule has to have an exception right? Well when I put my holiday deadline out there I did have to offer one exception. So here is my you-live-in-a-different-state-now-and-are-in-town-for-the-holiday exception. Miss C! Remember her? She has been on the blog quite a few times this year. She is one year old now. Don't worry she still has the big beautiful cheeks.

My second to last...

Ok, I am in the home stretch of portraits. Here is Miss G. She was so sweet and smiley the last time I saw her that we all had high hopes. Unfortunately she was recovering from a bad cold. We finally convinced her to give up a few smiles...

She had a friend visiting for his pics too. Here is Mr M. He loved all of Miss G's toys, we had a tough time tearing him away.
