What a beautiful day on Monday- I couldn't think of a nicer way to spend it than at Stanley Park with these two cuties. I have been photographing them since Miss R was born- and I love watching your children grow and getting to know them a little along the way.

Mr L in all his 5 year old cuteness!


I just have to share this picture. I was setting the kids up on the stones for a picture. The sound of the ducks began to get louder behind my back. The kids begin to get a nervous look on their faces. Finally Mom says, "um, have you looked behind you?" Needless to say I did not get the shot and we got out of there pretty quick- we didn't have any food for the ducks and they had an opinion about that oversight. Although truthfully I think Dad bore the brunt of the abuse- thanks Dad.

It has been two years since I photographed these cuties. Here is a link to one of the last times I photographed them. I was so excited to see them again. I was SHOCKED that these two sat still at the beginning. No worries they quickly went back to their old ways and soon I was chasing them.

Carrie and Brian are expecting their first baby in a few months and wanted just a few pictures to remember this "just the two of us" time. Carrie admits to not being too fond of pictures- so hopefully this wasn't too painful. I am sure their daughter will be the star of all their pictures next year.

Two of my favorite families in a row! Sunday was so fun. I have to say I was a little afraid there would be more outtakes than "good" shots because we were all having so much fun goofing around. I am pleased to say there are quite a few pictures that can be shared- phew!

I love my job- I get to meet new people and I get to spend time with friends too! I met this family a few years ago when Mr M and my guy were in gymnastics together- skip ahead a few years and Mom and I just got back from our trip to Scotland.

Mr J was so friendly- we started talking as soon as he got out of the car and didn't stop. Well that's not true he would stop, smile and let me take his picture and then we were off and running. He had some of his own ideas for shots too. This is the very first picture I took!
