A total character

This is Mr M, and he is total character. I am glad I finally got to meet him- we have had a few attempts and finally made it work! He kept me entertained the whole time.


I have to say that for ALL of the family groups on Sunday the parents happily jumped into the pictures too. I love that!

Day at Stanley Park

We got rained out from our original Stanley Park picture day. We rescheduled to today and none of us were complaining. We could not have asked for more beautiful weather! There were five different family groups today and I took over 1,000 frames, so bare with me it will take a few days probably to get the sneak peeks up here. First up was little Miss M. Colin and Lindsey's Wedding

Colin and Lindsey were married today. This wedding was especially fun for me since I remember when the groom was born. Yes, that's right, I am that old. Colin is the younger brother of my childhood friend, Kristin. They had a beautiful wedding on a beautiful fall day. The wedding was held at the Webb Barn in Old Wethersfield, CT.

They were such great sports and willing to go out downtown and take some pictures. They were greeted with many well wishes and a couple of honks!

Gerrit and Sal's Wedding

Gerrit and Sal got married today. In fact they got married twice. Once in Connecticut and tonight in Massachusetts. The exciting news is that gay marriage is now legal in Connecticut as well. Gerrit has planned weddings for years and finally got to be on the other side of the table. No detail was left untouched. All of their thought and hard work paid off. The ceremony was personal and intimate. They were surrounded by their family and closest friends in a loving circle while they exchanged their vows. Since the ceremony was set to coincide with sunset we did our portraits before the wedding. First of all the men of the hour...


I can't forget these two. I have know Miss M and Miss S since they were very small. I don't get to see them very often anymore so it was fun to see them again tonight. They had special roles since Garrit is their uncle.

After the sun set everyone headed inside for a nice dinner, by candlelight.

Oh My Cuteness

So I went over to this house tonight to take some famiy pictures. And I promise I did take them, like this one...

But truth be told, my camera could not stay away from Mr M. He is so cute and smiley- even with his runny nose.


You see how it would be tough not to take his picture, right?

Senior Pictures

It is that time of year, senior pictures are due this month and I have gotten a few calls this week. This is P.J. He was so great to photograph. Remind me again why I usually photograph small children that never stop moving? A senior is a nice change of pace. There are lots of great pics, but here are a few.

Little Miss G

It's been almost a year since I last saw Miss G. My has she grown. She was so fun and friendly, and kept trying to get me to chase her. Luckily I was able to catch her a few times.
