Cutie Patooties

We are coming to the end of my Christmas sessions. Tomorrow are my final two. But let's talk about today. Miss C is in Justin's class at school. She is such a cutie, so happy to sit and smile for me- thank you Miss C.

Here is her little sister Miss N. She was a little resistant to begin but Mom pulled out the M&M bribery and Miss N pulled out the smiles.

Total Cuties right?

A chilly afternoon session

I have to give a big shout out to this last family. They were real troopers. Because of the very overcast sky today we could not do pictures inside their home (in fact I had to cancel my final appointment). So they all went outside without complaining- it is in the 30s today. Thank guys very much, I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Little Miss I

This is Miss I, she is my neighbor's grandaughter and absolutely adorable. I was so excited to photograph her because she has the most beautiful smile that just lights up her eyes. See what I mean?

and rocking the non-smiley pics...

Sunday is Picture Day!

Four sessions today! This is my last big weekend taking pictures. I have been blessed with such wonderful subjects. Mr J and Miss A came to my house today. They were very sweet and a little goofy- the perfect combination.

I had forgotten about this pose. I used to do it all the time, pulled it out again today- aren't they adorable??

Two cousins

My last shoot of the day was at Miss G's house. She was all dressed up in her Christmas finest. She was not that interested in smiling for me, but for those of you who have been following my blog you know I am loving the non-smiley pics lately so it is fine with me. Miss G has beautiful red hair and bright blue eyes- what's not to love?

Here is her little cousin Mr J. He was more than happy to give me the big grins.
Mmmmm that chair tasted soooo good.

A walk down memory lane

The second family I photographed today was one of the first I ever photographed. Two years ago I had just bought my fancy new camera (the same one I have now that I can't wait to upgrade). There we were on the bleachers at the YMCA when my friend Sue expressed her frustration at trying to get a picture of her two children together for Christmas cards. I say, "I can take the picture". Without skipping a beat or asking me what the heck I was talking about she said, "ok". Boy did we have to work for it the first year. Miss A wasn't even a year old and Mr M was 4 at the time. So I thought my blog readers, there are 3 of you right, would enjoy a little trip down memory lane, to see how far my photograhpy has come as well as watching these two grow. First up 2005- this was pretty much as good as it got that year.

Here is the next year 2006, Miss A had come a long way and was all smiles.

Here we are today, 2007. Miss A was a bit tired today and gave me 15 minutes to get all the pictures I needed- phew we pulled it off.

Thanks for walking with me!

Busy Weekend, first up....

I have lots of shoots this weekend, so the blog will be moving fast. Here is my first family. I know mom and dad were worried that I didn't get a single usable picture. So here is my reassurance for them....
