Robin and Paul

Ah, what can I say about this shoot. Robin and Paul wanted some recent pictures of themselves together. Robin gave me quite a lecture about avoiding the "cheesy" photos. After arriving and getting started I realize that admonition was actually for her husband Paul. I have to say we had so much fun, well Paul and I did. We were laughing so hard for most of the time, causing quite a few scoldings from Robin, "I am taking this seriously!". Paul wanted me to agree to, "what happens in Stanley Park, stays in Stanley Park"- but alas I had to share a few. Here is the beautiful couple.

and to be honest there are many photos that look like this too...
Thanks guys it was a blast and a great way to end my photo taking weekend. Don't worry Emily, you are next, working on them now.

Sunday is Friend Day!

I had 3 sessions today, all with friends. First up is Mr T and Miss V. Mr T and Justin went to camp this summer together and hit it off. Now they enjoy chasing each other around the roller skating rink for Stomp Romp and Roll.

Ok, and this image just cracks me up! Mr T let it be known that he did not want that to happen again. hee hee.
still need to get sneek peeks from the other two sessions from today. phew- I am busy!

More from the Picture Party

Here are the last two families from the picture party on Saturday. Since these kids were a little older I decided to make them brave the chilly temps for some outdoor shots. They were great troopers and very good helpers at making the little ones smile, thank you Mr R and Miss L for your cooperation and help.

Here are their cousins. Up first Miss A.

Her older sister Miss B. Miss B was very sweet with her new little sister, she was holding and kissing her all the time.

Speaking of the newest addition Miss C, just 2 weeks old, and another set of beautiful blue eyes.

That's all for the picture party. I will be very busy the next few days working my way through all the pictures I took this weekend.

Hey Look!

A picture of one of my children! actually this is the only picture of my child that I have taken all month. maybe in January I will get some more of my kids, after the Xmas rush. So here is Jessica helping Marc with the leaves.

Picture Party part 2

Here is my second installment. First up two sisters, Miss N and Miss S. Miss N did a great job taking care of her little sister and keeping her safe on the table.

more beautiful baby blues...

I went next door to meet Mr L and Miss R. Mr L was not so interested in having his little sister in his lap but was very willing to allow her to sit next to him, ah memories.
nothing cuter than a nudie baby!
not the best pic, but who doesn't love a little yawning baby?
still need to get approval from the last two families to put pics on the blog, so you will have to wait to see the rest. more shoots tomorrow and this week.

Picture Party part 1

I had a picture party today. Five families in 3 hours- phew I am tired. Here is the first installment, my wonderful host's adorable twins. Their parents were nice enough to build an addition with big glass doors so there was lots of light- wasn't that thoughtful of them? So here they are in the beautiful Christmas dresses.

Check out these baby blues!

I am so funny!
And here it is, the image of the day. This is Miss S in her birthday outfit, I think I should invite her to my annual Oscar party, what do you think?
onto uploading part two...

2 Cuties to brighten up a Yucky Day

It was very gloomy and grey here today, very dark. My friend Terri, who moved out of town earlier this year, called yesterday to say she was going to be in the neighborhood and could I take the kids' pictures. I was very excited to see all of them again, and then this dark day arrived. I was really nervous that we wouldn't have enough light to get good pictures, but we decided to give it a shot. I am so glad we did. Mr J and Miss L were so stinking cute! They were adorable and so fun. Miss L is all about the kisses, kisses for her mommy, kisses for her brother, heck she was even giving kisses to herself-too cute. My favorite part was when I said, "who is the cutest?" and without skipping a beat she replied, "I am!"- too true.

Mr J decided to give some kisses back to Miss L, all together everybody say, "awwwww"....
