For Bec...

Becky and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful Fall weather and the fact that our husbands were off canoe/camping this weekend. [Pity them they are in upstate New York and the weather is cold, rainy, and there is a chance it might snow tonight.] Anyway, off we went to the Mount Holyoke Campus for some pictures. I had a lot of pictures I still needed to capture for my homework assignment this week. Well, trust a 3rd grader to understand the importance of getting your homework done, Emma was quite cooperative- thank you Emma. The kids all had a great time, running and chasing each other, playing pooh sticks and occasionally stopping for a quick pic. So, here is your sneak peek Bec, I still have a lot of proofing to do but I had to share these with you all now.

My kids

Here are some pics of my kids- didn't want you to forget about them :)

I am determined to get a pleasant picture of Justin this week, but for now I will have to settle for ones like this one.

Amusing Video

Click here to view a very funny video of a woman who puts everything a mom would say in one day to the music of the William Tell Overture- very amusing.

Two Total Cuties!

I am a little nervous about sharing pics from this session today. See, I am afraid that every Mom out there will assume I can get pictures this great everytime. While I flatter myself to think I can, I did have very good subjects. So here is a sneak peek for Little G and N's Mom and Dad. First Miss G, looking pretty as a princess- she didn't even pull out the bow- definitely not my child.

And for the record, I am offering a HUGE cash reward to anyone who can get pictures of my two kids like these...

And a few of Mr. N. I know Mom was afraid I didn't get any pictures of him, but I did...

Mom didn't want to get in front of the camera, aren't you glad she did?

And of course the requisite post photo shoot bribery..

Annoying Games

Is there anything more annoying than the timeless childhood game of copying what the other person is saying?

A trip to the park

We went to the park the other day and all Jessica wanted to do is read. She has recently discovered the joy of reading. Justin was a little bummed he didn't have her company. We ran into little Miss Izzy who is our neighbor's granddaughter- how cute is she?

Highlight of the week? yeah I had Toys R Us call a "Code Adam" for Justin. For those of you who don't know, a Code Adam is when you have a lost child. It is named after Adam Walsh- the America's most Wanted Host's son. So when you go up and say, as I did, I can't find my son, they call a Code Adam. This means that all of the exits are immediately sealed to prevent anyone from leaving. They had me stand at the door while every employee stopped what they were doing to search for him. Let's be clear I figured there was a 2% chance that anything bad happened to him and a 98% chance that he was off playing with toys and refusing to answer my call, but I figured it wasn't worth the risk. he was located within a minute and when he came up the aisle he was carrying the biggest skateboard you have ever seen! He had no idea why I might be upset he was just in the hot wheels area- duh. anyway, that was our excitement. we then went to look at the Star Wars stuff and drool over the new $120 light saber, it's on his Christmas list! I told him he had a better chance at the $20 ones but he was skeptical that Santa even made light sabers.
