Fall Photo Sessions!!

It is that time of year again! Fall photo shoots! To add to the complication with scheduling I am going to be going out of town from September 25th-October 3rd to celebrate the big 4-0. This does limit the number of weekends available to shoot. The last day I will be taking pictures will be November 14th, which gives me time to finish up galleries and deliver photos and still be able to enjoy my own holiday.

The Photo Shoot Schedules are available if you click the tab marked "Events" up above. I will be updating this as often as possible. I will open up scheduling today, Friday August 27th, to returning clients, and to new clients starting on Wednesday September 1st.

There are raindates scheduled as well. IF we don't need to use those I will post on the blog and on Facebook if I am available for last minute scheduling, I will also maintain waiting lists.

I am offering something different this year- mini sessions. The last hour of each of the photo shoot days I will schedule three 20 minute sessions. The price will be $55 but it will include 25 free photo cards. These sessions are best for people with older children since we will need to get down to business quickly.

One more incentive: all photo shoots that occur during the week when my children are in school will receive a free 8x10.

Please also note that I do offer a digital package- click on "Investments" above for more information.

My home unfortunately is still not an ideal location for portraits, but I do know a few nice outdoor locations in the area. Since I am a natural light photographer I do rely on nice weather, even if the portraits are scheduled to be taken in your home if it is dark outside I may have to cancel.

On Vacation!

I will be out of town until the 21st of August. The week after I return I will post and begin scheduling fall appointments, so keep your eye on the blog or my Facebook page for more information. I will have email while away, but I will be slow to respond.

More Reunions! | Wilbraham, MA photographer

It is my lucky month! I had the pleasure of photographing these beauties today. It has been too long since I last saw them and it was so fun to hang out with them again as well as meet their handsome new cousin.

Mr W arrived and they are so sweet and loving, both very eager to hold and care for him.

We made sure to give Mr W the spotlight for a few pics too.

Cute Family | West Springfield, MA photographer

I went over to meet this adorable family on Sunday morning. We began with Miss E showing me all around and showing all the things she can do like run, slide, swing, hit a ball. Here she is at the bottom of the slide.

We went inside to collect her little brother and Daddy.

Then we headed back outside for some more fun!

Baby smiles are just the best! And Mr M has some pretty cute ones for sure!

I have to admit that I love baby kisses as well.
So nice to meet you all!

An "Old" Friend | Hartsdale, NY photographer

I think I am amusing myself mostly by referring to the Mom as an "OLD" friend. We have known each other for many years but in addition the day I took these pictures there was a surprise- ahem- 29th birthday party for her later. Mom emailed me to see if I knew of any photographers in her area and I suggested me! I was happy to take a drive and see a friend and she was pleased not to have to find a different photographer so we made a plan. Her daughters are sweet and friendly- it is a good thing that there was a party planned for later because I might have made them pose for me for hours otherwise.

Don't worry I made Mom and Dad get in the pictures too!

Actually no one was safe- here are Mom's parents.
It was so fun to see everyone and have a nice visit. Thanks for welcoming me into your home!

One Year Old and Wonderful | Wilbraham, MA child photographer

I've decided recently that I think one year olds are some of my favorite subjects (before they are truly walking and mobile). They are so happy and easily amused, they have just a few teeth to give them the cutest smile ever. Check out Mr J to see what I mean.

His parents are pretty cute too!

Two Boys Too Cute | Holyoke, MA child photographer

Had a fun morning yesterday chasing these two around their yard. Mr T had lots of ideas about pictures and Mr C just wanted to do whatever Mr T was doing. And me? I just tagged along. This pose- all Mr T.

Another of Mr T's choices- smiling and jumping.

They did this all the time! And they both just giggled.

So fun, as always!

Baby makes Four! | Wilbraham, MA child photographer

I was so excited to meet the latest addition to this beautiful family. Mr W is only about 2 weeks old and he arrived with quite an entourage!

Miss A admitted she was hoping to get a few pictures of just her- as if I could resist taking some pictures of this beautiful face.

Mr P was not that interested in having his picture taken- but once we put a stick in his hands he was all smiles!

And then I had a few minutes with just Mr W- so beautiful.

Can't wait to see you all again (Jessica is already asked about when Miss A can come back for a playdate).

Short and Sweet | Monson, MA family photographer

One of my favorite families asked if I could stop by their parents 50th anniversary party and take a few pictures of the extended family. It was my pleasure- and I am not just saying that because I left with a plate full of food.

Long Time no See | Wilbraham, MA photographer

The post title can apply to both these clients as well as my neglect of this blog- so sorry! The first two beautiful children were a part of my daily life a few years ago- between preschool, playgroups and other activities. But now that everyone is school age we never get together anymore, so I was so happy to see them again for any reason.

After taking some pictures of Miss K and Mr C we were joined by their cousins. In photography people will sometimes mention the use of Baby Wranglers. I have to say we had 3 adults and 4 older children and I think we still could have used more baby wranglers when it came to the triplets. I am sure they keep mom on her toes a lot!

So great to see you all again!
