Oh Baby! | Wilbraham, MA newborn photographer

Let me tell you a little about Mr M. His Mommy and I have been planning this photo shoot since before we even knew he was coming. Mom mentioned to me once that she regretted not taking newborn photos with her other two. As soon as we found out #3 was on his way we began making our plans. Mr M is only 7 days old- we found a time when it could be just the 3 of us- we sent Dad and the other two packing. We pumped the heat and the fire up and got to work.

I know Mom loves her B&W pictures....

What Mom really wanted was pics on the black backdrop. Wasn't it nice of Mr M to cooperate?

Mr M overheard me saying I wasn't leaving until he smiled- after almost 4 hours he was pretty sick of me so he acquiesced.

Mom was concerned about not being "camera ready". I don't know about you, but I think she looks great! This is the very last shot I took before I packed up and left.

Well that is enough for now, afraid if I keep looking at these pictures I am going to go back on my decision to not have any more babies.

All worth it! | Wilbraham, MA newborn photographer

This session was four hours, we were sweating, pooped and peed on, but it was all worth it- because I finally got this shot:

I have so many more- and I will do another post soon- but I just couldn't wait to share!

Giggles Galore! | Wilbraham, MA child photographer

This Mom has been very patient. I took these pictures last week and then I promptly went away for the rest of the week. I am back and happy to share a few pics from their session. These two boys are so giggly and we all end up laughing the whole time.

So nice to see you all again- thanks for your patience.

Another One Year Old! | Enfield, CT child photographer

I am on fire lately with the one year old crowd! These kiddos might look familiar since the photo I took after Mr G was born last year just won my annual contest. While Mr G was getting ready for his photo shoot Miss G was very happy to do her famous pose for me.

I admit I was a little nervous about another walking one year old. But Mr G sat right down and smiled and smiled and smiled for me! [I know some of you will ask me if this is a backdrop- but this is actually the wall in their living room. Keep this in mind when painting your home- thank you.]

No such thing as too much loving from his big sister.

I admit I love this picture- just a little down time.

Ending with a shot of my valentine- she didn't want me to leave. I admit I almost fell for the various treats she was offering me to get me to stay.

One Year Old Beauty | Wilbraham, MA child photographer

Miss A is about to turn one year old and mommy and I had big plans for this shoot- but alas Miss A had her own plans too. It took Miss A awhile to get comfortable with me. She had on this adorable outfit.

Mostly she wanted to make sure her mommy was within arms reach.
But slowly very slowly she gave up a few smiles for me.

Happy Birthday Miss A!

Newborn Newness | Wilbraham, MA newborn photographer

This is the first of my takers on the FREE newborn photo shoots offer. I have photographed Mr B before and I was very excited to meet his new little sister Miss P. We decided to warm up Mr B with a few of just him.

Then we tried to slip in his little sister and see if he noticed. He is such a great big brother and loves giving her lots of kisses.

We sent Mr B and Daddy off to run a few errands and got to business putting Miss P to sleep.

She finally had to give in- I am pretty boring.

Before they left we put Miss P into an outfit that her Mommy wore when she was this little. Grandma saved it all these years for Miss P.

Thanks for coming over and being such great sports.

And the winners are....

Can you believe I almost forgot to post this?? I don't think this is a surprise since I am pretty sure all their mommies (and many others) have been stalking the blog quite regularly the past week. But let's make it official!

In first place with 283 votes, winning a $50 print credit for an upcoming session AND this picture will soon appear in my blog header....

In second place, with 267 votes and a $25 print credit (since these two are cousins their moms will have to duke it over that credit- I have faith they can work it out)....

And in third place, with an even 200 votes and winning a $15 print credit- these beauty, who will soon be celebrating her 2nd birthday!...

Winners don't forget to schedule your sessions to claim your prizes. Actually I have faith in this bunch- can you believe NONE of last year's winners have claimed their prizes yet? But no worries they won't expire.
